About Asaya Massage and Wellness
Asaya is built around clear, attentive bodywork. Sessions are designed around the client's pain, stress, comfort level, and goals for the day.
In 2018, Asaya's founder returned home to Campbellsville, Kentucky after nearly ten years out west. The goal was simple: help people care for their bodies with touch, nature, and practical wellness habits.
In 2019, after years of prayer and seeking guidance, a clear message arrived: "If you can touch them, you can help them." That moment started the move into massage therapy.
Holistic Massage and Body Balance
The name Asaya means "God has created," and Asaya in Sanskrit refers to balance. That meaning guides the way each massage is paced: steady, careful, and responsive to the person on the table.
The logo includes earth, water, fire, and air. In the treatment room, those ideas show up as grounded pressure, fluid movement, warmth, and clear communication.
Asaya's work is shaped by study, practice, nature, plant medicine, and a strong interest in how people carry stress and pain in the body.
Pain Relief Massage and a Broader Healing Movement
According to the National Health Interview Survey, 50.2 million adults in the United States experience chronic pain on most days. The National Institute on Drug Abuse reports that between 8 and 12 percent of people using opioids for chronic pain develop opioid use disorder. In 2020, an estimated 2.7 million Americans age 12 or older reported having opioid use disorder.
Massage is not a replacement for medical care. It can be one useful support for people dealing with muscle tension, stress, guarded movement, and pain that affects daily life.
